A couple weeks ago Matt and I went on a little trip to Los Angeles, California. We were there for work, but had the chance to do a little exploring.
Santa Monica Pier on the windiest day!
The sunshine felt so so sooooo nice!
Hike up Runyon Canyon. Amazing views of the city, the hills, and it was so clear we could see all the way to the ocean.
For my dad's birthday we got together for a fantastic evening!
The food was so so so good.
Shrimp, steak, veggies, onions, guac, and garlic in wraps!
I didn't make it into any photos but Ruckus sure did!
Love these two photos!
H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y D A D !
I had a chill but wonderful Valentine's Day! Matt and I had Prosecco and ordered in Domino's pizza. Plus finished it off with some Haagen-Dazs!
We also continued our binge watching of the Finnish series Bordertown (definitely recommend checking it out).
Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!
Fruit, coffee, red wine, and a home cooked meal... all my favourites!
As many people can relate, January felt like a very long month. I try and take time to cook good food, and enjoy the simple things like
my morning coffee, or sharing some red wine with my sister. But now January is over, and I am (kind of) ready for February!
It's been soooo cold!
There has been so much snow, and freezing rain, it's been a wild week in Ottawa.
-37˚C ... HELP!
I have to get so bundled up to walk to work or even just down the street to the gym.
It's become my new normal to be wearing 2 pairs of pants wherever I go.
I love winter but the cold air hurts my face...
Sunrise over the city.
Fresh banana bread! After Christmas I boycotted baking for a bit but, I'm back at it.
Banana bread with fresh fruit and veggies.
Walk down to Lansdowne, getting all the winter sun I can!
Charcuterie board from Matt's Nonno's 90th Birthday!
Hope you're enjoying this snowy Sunday - have a great week!
My parents bought a new truck! Here they are with it, all shiny and new!
Congrats mom and dad and beautiful new truck :)
Matt and I made it out for our first skate of the season!
The conditions of the Rideau canal were really good, it was a mild day, and since it was a weekday, it wasn't very busy.
We had so much fun, and plan on heading out a lot more this season!
