In Toronto Matt and I went to Caroline's place for dinner and games. Liora, Francie, and Ryan joined too. We had such a fun night! We had Raclette for dinner, followed by many rounds of Telestrations. Telestrations is a game similar to telephone, but with drawings, and I definitely recommend it - we were laughing all night! Now Francie is heading back to Berlin, and she won't be in Canada until next summer, it was great to see her and hang out. Thanks for a fun filled night!
Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto! Matt and I had a lot of fun - as you'll see from the number of photos taken :)
We were lucky enough to be there on a Monday in November, so it wasn't very busy.
Another recommendation for Toronto, definitely the aquarium!
The CN Tower is one of those toursity things in Toronto you never seem to do, then at some point you wonder why you've been avoiding it.. it's so great! The last time I went was over 10 years ago, and a lot has changed since then!
We stayed for a bite and drinks, and had the most beautiful view of the city!
It was so windy that day that we weren't allowed out on the observatory part of the tower. And the elevator, which usually takes 58secs to go up, was slowed down to 3mins... not the most reassuring but, we were fine!
Above you can see the glass floor, still as cool and as thrilling as ever!
I definitely recommend taking a tour up the CN Tower! Even if you've been already, it's a view that will never get old!
This past weekend I went on a quick trip to Toronto. Here are a few photos from the trip, and the rest are coming soon!
Lots more photos to come!
Hope everyone had a good weekend :)
Hope there are a few more days like this before the snow falls!
Snaps above from the past few weeks. Including chocolate from Hummingbird Chocolatier in Almonte, their chocolate has won awards around the world. A bunch of workout pics, and a few nerdy ones ;)
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! The weather is a little chilly but it's sunny and beautiful.
Have a nice Sunday!
1 1 . 1 1
I haven't been in Canada for the past two years on Remembrance Day. Today was extra special to me, as we took the time to remember all those who fought and sacrificed for this wonderful country. I am so proud to be Canadian.
I hope everyone took the time today to be reflect and be thankful.
Have a great weekend :)
Matt and I had a good week at work and decided to celebrate with a dinner at the Elmdale Tavern. It was the first time Matt tried oysters, so we started with only a few. He ended up liking them, and we had to order some more. Our main dishes were also fantastic! I had beef tartar, and Matt had steak and fries. Hopefully we can make a trip back soon..! The restaurant is in Hintoburg and I definitely recommend it - on that note, It's also very busy, so try to reserve ahead of time!
