We spent our Thanksgiving Sunday relaxing,
enjoying the fire, and eating way too much.
I also made an apple pie!
We then spent our Monday with my family for Thanksgiving. I do not have any photos from Monday, as we had about 50 people and it was very, very busy.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
This post is a little late but it's been a busy couple of weeks... here are some photos of Thanksgiving spent at the lake!
A few drone pics! The leaves hadn't fully changed but it was still beautiful.
With my awesome shell floaty, Matt took some drone shots of me out on the lake.
We learned a lot about the glare from the sun... it makes shooting on the lake a little more difficult on sunny days.
We still managed to get some cool shots but, now we know for next time.
During our special operations training at the military training facility (more info in post below), we got to drive HMMVs! We were lucky enough to have one of Canada's best rally car driver, Leo, with us.
He taught us a bit, let us drive, then took us for a hot lap through the quarry.
This is my first time trying to upload videos - let me know if there are any issues.
HMMV racing past us down a steep hill into the quarry!
Driving and riding in the HMMV was so much fun! I can't wait to share it with everyone through our platform.
I'll be back out to do it again in the future, and am happy to answer any questions if you're interested!
We took the drone out for the first time with snow on the ground! It was a mild and sunny day, perfect for drone flying.
We went to Sarsparilla Trail, and here's my 2 favourite shots!
We went to Sarsparilla Trail during the summer to shoot with the drone as well. Above you can see the summer shot, and the winter one. I think the comparison is so cool! Everything is exactly the same, except on the right it's frozen over.
Can't wait to get some more winter shots!
Some fall drone shots from the Lanark Highlands!
Above you can see the K & P Trail. It's a trail running from Pembroke to Kingston which used to be where the train ran. It's now used mainly for ATVs and bikes. During the summer, Matt and I took a few trips with the ATV along it.
