Yesterday Seb and I went to the tennis club after he finished school. Seb's best friend Sander, his mom manages the restaurant so we stop in every now and then. The tennis club is in Hellerup, (Farfar I think you are the only one who understands what this means) which is about a 20min drive from where we are living. Since it was such a lovely day we decided to go and feed the ducks! The second picture shows Seb and Sander getting a little too close to a swan. They fed the swan, joked around a bit then ran away - even they know the dangers of messing with a swan! The picture right above is of Seb and Sander throwing bread in the air for the seagulls then running away. I thought it would be a nice and relaxing time feeding the ducks... I was wrong. They thought it was funny to throw bread above our heads so the seagulls would swoop down, this is when I decided to keep my distance from them until the bread was all gone.
The area where we fed the ducks was actually a moat around what appeared to be an old military fort. After feeding the ducks we explored the fort a bit then headed back to the tennis club. We had dinner at the tennis club - frikadeller (danish meatballs), potatoes and vegetables, DELICIOUS!
Now I sit writing this blog post from my favourite cafe. I just finished editing Sander's english paper and my next task for the day is to email some more companies in search of a job!
