Yesterday Seb drove Leah and I out to Kronborg Slot, also known as Hamlet's Castle. Shakespeare's play Hamlet was based on a legend about the Danish prince and this is the castle he lived in. We packed a picnic and were lucky enough to enjoy it in the sunny, warm weather.
So many pictures from the castle! I recently learned that you can enlarge the smaller pictures by clicking them, this way you can see them full size and easily scroll through the group of pictures posted together.
Today Leah and I spent the day at Tivoli! Tivoli is the amusement park located in the centre of Copenhagen and it is even rumoured that after Walt Disney visited this park he got the idea for Disney World! It was a cloudy and windy day but we enjoyed every minute of it :)
Leah trying to feed the fish, unfortunately the birds stole half of the fish food from them.
Everyone needs an afternoon coffee break!
Leah took a ride on the giant swings! She was informed before riding that the wind was very strong and therefore the ride would be slower than usual for safety reasons - only slightly scary... She was able to see over the whole city and loved the ride!
An afternoon at Tivoli cannot be complete without an ice cream topped with flødeboller!
We had yet another wonderful (and tiring) day! The next few days appear to have rain in the forecast but I'm sure we will find something to do :)
