Last week Connie and I headed to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art to check out the Olafur Eliasson exhibit. His exhibit was titled Riverbed, and he had filled the museum rooms with volcanic rocks from Iceland and a small stream running down the exhibit and through the rooms.
We waked through the rooms and got to be part of the exhibit (mainly playing with the rocks)!
We continued the day with a lovely lunch and a stroll through the rest of the Museum. For those who know Ottawa, you will recognize the spider statue that's seen outside of the Gallery downtown - it is just as creepy in a smaller version as it is in Ottawa in the big version!
The Museum is about an hour outside of Copenhagen and right on the water, you can even see over to Sweden. It is on beautiful grounds with a statue park and paths all around the museum. We wanted to go for a stroll but it was cold, wet and grey... so we skipped the walk and headed home :) Once again, another great day!
