It's been a busy few weeks...! For the holidays I picked up a retail job at Lululemon which has been crazy but so much fun. I also went on a trip to Germany for a week for a project I'll be working on in 2019 (above pictures are from Germany). And I haven't had much free time in between. But I am back, and hoping to get some posts up from Germany and Christmas.

Yesterday was mild enough to make it out for a short run.
I decided to get out before the freezing rain hit, and while there wasn't much snow on the ground.
It felt so so good to be running outside!
I know, I know, my posts have not been frequent or too exciting lately. It's been a busy week and I've been helping my parents out with renos.
So all I have to share are a few photos of food...
Breakfast! Been loving fruit lately, and hearty oats or banana bread.
Dinner 1: rainbow trout, kale salad, and rice.
Dinner 2: BBQ chicken, broccoli, and sweet potato.
This week ahead will be pretty busy but hopefully I can try and capture something other than just my food... we'll see.
Have a great week!
This weekend I helped my parents out with some home renos!
We installed the kitchen cabinets,
and the kitchen floor!
I learned a lot along the way, and got to use all the fun power tools.
I went to a potluck brunch this past weekend and there were so many pastries, I headed home with a few extra and have been eating them non-stop.
But, I am working on getting back to my normal eating routine, and trying to eat something green every day.
This cold weather has me craving sweets and comfort food, so my goal right now is to find balance :)
I think this will be my new go to easy healthy dinner/lunch wrap.
Pita stuffed with spinach, cucumber, red onion, tzatziki, and optional chicken.
Takes no time at all, it's super fresh, plus lots of greens!
I've started knitting and after a few ugly projects, I've finally made something I will actually get use from.
My knit headband! What do you think?

I went out for a 10km run and it was fantastic!
I figured it may be the last long run i get in this year, depending on the weather and when it decides to snow.

I helped my parents around the house, raking leaves and cleaning up the yard.
We had nachos for dinner, and I spent a great day hanging out with my mom.
Here's to hoping we get a little more sun this week...!
