Upper Canada Village is located 100km outside of Ottawa and is a recreation of what a settlers village would have looked like when people first settled in Canada. For Christmas and New Years they set up amazing lights on all of the buildings, trees and fences. I went with my mom and dad to tour the village! It was in the midst of a snow storm, which made the village even more beautiful :)
Above you can see myself, my mom and my dad, each throwing out our own poses in front of various lit up barns!
There was a ferris wheel which gave a great view of the lights. It was a chilly -15 degrees, with snow and wind blowing in our faces but, we enjoyed the beautiful lights. A stop at Tim Hortons on the way home warmed us up quickly!
